In 2000 she joined the Group of Industrial Microbiology and Chemistry of Fermentation of Milan-Bicocca. She is deeply focused on the construction of cell factory and the optimisation of production processes.

Chemical engineer, MBA, has a wide experience in Industrial Business Development with top listed companies. Expert in international business mechanisms, plastics specialist, involved in green chemistry and sustainable development projects since 2009. He contributed to various start-ups and joint-ventures.
Biology Graduate; Industrial Microbiology and Chemistry Fermentation Professor at Milano-Bicocca University since 2002. Currently works as an Industrial Biotechnology research group Coordinator. Engaged in the promotion of biotechnological applications as a leading sector in the Italian and European economy.
Graduated in Physics in 1989, deeply involved for many years in the experimental study of material physics, achieving her PhD in Physics. Since some years she is involved in the growth of thin films and molecular organic semiconductor heterostructures. She studies, in particular, structural, morphological and optical properties of those materials, in view of their application in organic electronic devices.
